Job Descriptions samples and Duties, what to expect
Job descriptions samples are an examples of jobs and duties assigned. Descriptions for some jobs are just straight forward but for others, it is very broad and almost undefined. A good job description sample contains as much information about the job as possible, such that anybody who takes a look at knows exactly what is expected of him on the job. The job descriptions also serve as a guide to employers to know when an employee is doing well on the job or not.

Job Title and grade
Every job has a title and this must be stated in the job descriptions samples. Additionally, the grade or level of the position for example manager grade 1 or entry level grade 2 must also be stated. This will give a fair idea about the level of command of the job. Sometimes, it also states who the person on the job reports to. .
Duties and responsibilities
Good job descriptions samples must have a list of tasks expected from a person on the job. Usually, only the core duties are stated but more may be expected in performance.
Qualifications
Each job has a minimum level of educational qualifications for entry and this must be present on job descriptions samples. It is also important to state the skills set required for the job. Aside educational qualifications, other personal requirements may also be stated here. For instance excellent communication skills, ability to solve problems, team player and so on.
Experience
Some jobs are sensitive to the success of the organization and require accuracy and so employers prefer people having a certain number of years of experience in a certain field, rather than new comers who will now learn on the job and make mistakes. Management positions especially require a lot of working experience.
Remuneration
It is very important to state the salary and conditions of service on job descriptions samples. This guides the employees as to how much they should expect in terms of payment and what other benefits for instance health insurance, accommodation and others to expect from their employers.
Certain jobs require physical strain and so may not be suitable for people who are not physically fit. Some also require a certain height or weight and all this information must be on job descriptions samples. For instance, enlisting in the police force or army may require a certain minimum height, below which you are disqualified.
Age requirements
